Today is officially the shortest for 2018.
The sun is shining and there is just a slight breeze. And life is good. I suppose we need to remember that the wettest months are still to come, but I am prepared. I have so many creative projects on the go I wouldn’t mind being shut up for a month – except that my fingers may not cope. I've been creating ear warmers and beanies, and writing the patterns as I go. Plenty of very chunky, now working on a DK version. A few weeks ago I had cortisone injections in both my problem carpal tunnels – so far they are feeling much better. My thumb I injured last November has nearly settled, which means I am able to nail and screw my looms again. It has been a frustrating few months; although I have been weaving way more than I have in some time. The shop situation has been a bit messy for the past few weeks, but I am now settled back at 14 Sheridan St, with plenty of space to run classes/workshops. List ready from 22 June Email or message me for details.
